Eligibility Criteria:

General Requirements:

• Nationality: Pakistani citizens
• Age Limit:
  • ICTOs: 28 years old as of 1st April 2025
  • Engineering Officers: 28 years old as of 1st April 2025
• Education:
  • ICTOs: Candidates must have at least a 16 years of education in relevant fields (e.g., Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, etc.) from an HEC recognized institution.
  • Engineering Officers: Candidates must possess at least a 16 years of education in relevant engineering fields (e.g., Aerospace, Avionics, Electrical, Mechanical, etc.) from an HEC recognized institution.
• Physical Standards:
  • Height: Minimum 5 feet 4 inches for male candidates, 5 feet for female candidates.
  • Marital Status: Both hitched and single candidates are qualified to apply.
  • Health: Candidates must be medically fit according to the standards set by the Pakistan Army.

Online Registration:

• Registration Period: From 23rd December 2024 to 16th January 2025
• How to Apply:
  • Armed force enrollment site: joinpakarmy.gov.pk
  • Create an account and fill in the required application form.

  • After submitting the frame, take a printout of the enlistment slip.

Selection Process:

1. Initial Screening:

   • Online Registration
   • Physical and Medical Tests: At designated Army Selection and Recruitment Centers.

2. Written Test:

   • Depending on the position applied for, written tests will be conducted for relevant subjects (e.g., Engineering subjects, ICT, General Knowledge, etc.).

3. Interviews:

   • Successful candidates from the written test will be called for an interview at the relevant Army selection centers.

4. Final Medical Examination:

   • Candidates who pass the interview and other stages will undergo a final medical examination at the Military Hospitals.

5. Merit List:

   • Based on performance in the written test, interview, and medical exam, a merit list will be prepared. As it were the best candidates will be selected.

Training:

• Training Period: Selected candidates will undergo pre-commissioning training at the Pakistan Military Academy (PMA) Kakul.
• The duration and nature of the training may vary based on the specific branch or Corps.

Terms of Service:

• The officers selected under the Direct Short Service Commission are inducted as Captains.
• Initially, the service term is 5 years, extendable based on performance.

Important Notes:
